Limited Warranty for all goods sold on eworkshop.co.za
Warranty Coverage:
This warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. During the warranty period, we will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that prove defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
Warranty Period:
The warranty period for items purchased from us is 6 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer warranty.

Defects in materials and workmanship
Functionality issues not caused by user error or misuse
What Does This Warranty Not Cover?
Damage due to misuse, abuse, or neglect
All goods that have been damaged by power surges/load shedding
Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications
Consumable parts, such as batteries, unless product damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship
Cables, chargers, software, and batteries do not carry any warranty unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer
Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken ports
Software issues, including any loss of data

To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution. Please provide proof of purchase and a description of the issue.

Warranty Claim Process:
Contact us via email, phone, or in-person visit.
Provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the defect.
If required, ship the product to the address provided, including all components and accessories originally provided.
We will inspect the product and determine the validity of the warranty claim.
If the claim is valid, we will repair or replace the product at no charge. If the claim is not valid, we will notify you and provide a repair estimate, if applicable.
Please report the claim as soon as possible after discovering it to minimize potential damage.
Limitation of Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, this warranty does not cover any consequential, incidental, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of use, data, or profits, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the product.
Returns Policy
Warranty Policy:
All products purchased from eworkshop come with a standard 6-month warranty unless a different warranty period is explicitly stated at the time of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and operational issues that arise under normal usage conditions.
Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy:
If an item arrives DOA (i.e., it does not function upon delivery), eworkshop will offer a full refund or exchange the item, provided you can present a valid proof of purchase. It’s essential to notify us of the DOA status within 48 hours of receiving the item to activate this policy.
Notification and Return Requirements for DOA Items:
To process a DOA claim, you must contact eworkshop within 48 hours of receipt. All original merchandise and packaging, including accessories such as cables, manuals, CDs, brochures, etc., must be returned along with the defective product. If any items are missing, the refund or exchange may be delayed or denied until the missing items are returned.
Returns Within 7 Days:
If an item fails within 7 days of purchase, eworkshop will provide a full refund or exchange. Please note that a 10% handling and restocking fee will be applied to the refund or exchange amount. This fee helps cover the cost of processing the return and restocking the item.
Software Return Policy:
Software that has been opened, unsealed, or tampered with is not eligible for a refund. This policy is in place to prevent the return of software that may have been used or copied.
Return Shipping Requirements:
When returning items to eworkshop, ensure that they are well-packaged to prevent damage during transit. We recommend using a shipping method that includes insurance to protect against potential loss or damage. This ensures that the returned item arrives in the same condition as when it was shipped.
